Help Car Is Making A Knocking Sound!

hey guys,

iv noticed when i start the engine ONLY SOMETIMES there seems to be a knocking/tapping noise for half a sec and then it dissapears. what would it be? kinda anoing would it be not enough oil going to the engine?... never had this problem with my other r33's.....

tired lifters. put some "lifter free" in it. nulon $10

oh wait. neo's are solid lifter. hmm. posibly a dodgy oil filter draining out when the engine sits.

get a decent quality oil filter.

thanks t04gtr i will try that tommoz hope it fixes it much appreciated. hmmm would this noise be a serious problem? i hope its sumthing little coz it only does it sumtimes.

checked the oil levels?

yes i have it seems to be ok it stil has the same oil from compliance i think i should change it..... they might of put shit oil in it

They do put shit oil in it, dont drive it again till you change it.

buy an import, put all filters on it, change the oil and depending on age of the car i would empty and flush the fuel tank, plus most important put some motoul in it
