Low Idle...

Hey guys,

Got my R33 S1 after 2 months of waiting and im loving it. Only problem is that the engine is idling @ like 550rpm which is way too low imo, i would have thought it would have to be up near 800-900. The reason i say this, is that on a few occasions i have come to pull up and the engine has konked out on me.

So i dont know how to alter the idling speed, but i checked the throttle cable and it seems a bit loose....

Can anyone help?

there is a idle control on the back of the plenum. it is on the drivers side. just do a search for idle control and it should bring up some pics.

y pay some1 to do it? it the most simple thing u could ever do to a car, prolly easier than changing a tyre...

leave the car running, grab a srewdriver and turn the screw slowly til u get the idle u want
