Fs (or Trade Up With Cash) - 89 Hilux Surf Turbo Diesel 5sp

Recommended Posts

Up for sale is my 89 Toyota Hilux Surf turbo diesel. Details inc photos, specs and price can be located on this link.

http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/...icle_id=1952658

Looking to sell simply because the car never gets used anymore - just turned over once a week for the past year.

Please note, I am also happy to consider either a swap, or even a trade up on a more expensive vehicle.

This proposition may be ideally suited to someone who has a vehicle in the $10-20K bracket who just needs cash fast, and has had no luck selling their vehicle, and wouldn't mind the notion of swapping for a 4WD and getting a bit of cash in their pocket at the same time. Both this vehicle and cash are ready to go, so if you are having a hard time selling your vehicle such as R33, etc then I'd be happy to hear more about it.

I'll consider any offer. Please send by PM so as not to unnecessarily bump this ad, and be sure to include either photos, specs and price of yours, or a link where all of this may be found.

vehicle is located in eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

cheers,

J

    • Hi can anyone shed some light, pin 104 and 106 from rb26 ecu is not connected is this important? If so will i need the fpcm and wire this in?    car runs but lumpy and sparks plugs getting really black soot on them. Fueling issues by looks of it have t attached these 2 wires as dont know where it goes?

    • I bought the car like this, but the previous owner installed a on/off switch on the dash to turn on the AC compressor. I believe this switch is wired to the engine bays fuse panel. When i switch the AC compressor on, i feel it dragging the engine and it makes a grinding noise. My question is, should i have the AC compressor rebuilt? is that a possibility? or should i buy a new one?
    • Anytime I still have a small amount of new oil left after an oil change on one of our cars, I dump it into a container. It's a concoction of different weights that I like to believe evens out to a 10W-30. I do an oil change every year on both my tractor and mower using that oil. Mower is at least 12 years old, and my tractor is about 5 and sat 2 weeks under 10 feet of water. Both still run great!
