This is very sad news.

Only the second death in a targa in australia too (a driver died in east coast rally 2 years ago), which means they have a pretty good saftey record considering the speeds and courses.

There have been a couple of deaths in Targa Tasmania (95 from memory) a bloke wrote his F40 off and him and his navigator died
