thks dude as I said had to back off at half track I couldn't control it as it was getting very wayward, full throttle was probably less than 50% of the run... We will be back with proper front runners std front suspension - it was way to low, and the gearbox input and output shafts re done... If you look at the time and speed to half track plus the 60ft indications are there that it should be good for a ten, plus the terminal speed was very low for a 12.3 which indicates good acceleration until I backed off.... I'd rather take the car home it one piece than put it into the wall...

funny thing is that after the dyno day when they gave your 180 a fang around bayswater they got upto 100mph 2!!:burnout:

Just fitted FMIC, having major boost spikes, and hitting AFM cuts hmmm :D

Only had the BOV put on a couple of days before the last dyno. The BOV is fine, it was just that one of the old vacuum hose got hard and split severely. Full boost came on late and didn't hold full boost for very long, peaked at 12psi then dropped to 10psi. The 13.6 sec run was done the weekend after the last dyno, had already replaced the split hose.

suspension stock and traction was no good that day.

the 14.10 was during the day while the 14.01 was at night, i was having heat problems with the cooler so let her be after only afew runs.

hrmm..

Thats an interesting figure skyzeer33.

As you can see by my sig i'm getting 156rwkw with boost dropping to around 11-12psi.

156rwkw = around 210rwhp.

So with the less weight of the R32-T I should be pulling in to the 13's.

Well maybe thats why I only just beat Andy's 33 GTR with a launch some where around 5000-6000rpm. :shake:

gt2530 turbo in a few weeks so it should get interesting then :D

I'll post my 1/4 run once I get the turbo.

Yes..

I am getting an adapter made up.

:)

And the Dump pipe also has to be modified which isn't to much of a hassle.

Should be in a few weeks if all goes well.

Thats the partial reason why I didn't go on the cruise this weekend.

Too much thrashing on a std turbo running 1 bar = Tow Home.

Which = Car off the road for 3 weeks = less money for new turbo = no turbo until probably 4 weeks.

= BAD

I'm going to get the ECU tuned from Tilbrooks so I'm really interested in the extra down low off boost power that they can tune in.

I'll see if i can get a dyno run from like 1000rpm or somthing to show the extra power down low. (BEfore and After)

    • Hey, guys, I’m hoping I can find answer here. I have already done some searching and asking around but still nothing.    I fitted an IC7 dash in my R32 GTR, and I got everything displaying on the dash except my high beams. I get input voltage and the high beams displaying in the dash when I pull the lever, but not when I fully engage the high beams. I spliced into the Red/Blue Beam+ wire in the black center connector from the cluster, but there is also a black Beam wire I think I need to use as well. The high beams still work. It’s just a matter of getting it to display on the dash.    Has anyone fully wired in their IC7 properly ? I would appreciate any guidance on this.    IMG_8835.mov
    • I buy my wheel cleaner in 4 litre bottles now. Euro brakes are brutal
    • Sounds like it may all just be some baseless outrage stoked by the carexplore guy? As in the linked social media outrage on facebook just goes back to carexplore as a source again. Further shown by the council response that nothing actually has changed: "The Private Land Use Permit has been part of the Casey Community Local Law for a number of years. It's important to clarify that this permit is not new, and no changes have been made to the permit or the Local Law in relation to the permit." The full council response in Prank's link sounds reasonable to me. Saying that as someone who neither lives there nor has a front yard to call their own
    • Clutch hydraulics are also all good, looks like a brand new slave cylinder and everything bled up well. No idea what the actual clutch is, and I don't intend to pull the box off on the floor to find out, so unless we have trouble on the dyno or at shakedown that will remain a mystery for the new owner
    • Front brakes are G4 8 pot calipers over 330mm discs with braided lines. Everything looks good, pretty sure these are off my old 350. Pads are brand new and judging from gold colour are Winmax which is what I also run on my race car, Neil and I both sourced brake stuff from Matty at Racebrakes Sydney who really knows his stuff Everything has bled up nicely with all new Motul RBF600 fluid, there were 2 loose hard line connections and the calipers were new on the car so I ended up doing it 3 times but it is perfect now
