This pops up alot on yahoo when you search for DR30 bits and pieces, mainly odd body moulding and such. I just found a pages which describes them having machine guns and all. Now I just want to know what is the go with them are they from some old weird Jap Tv show or something??

Here There are a couple of pics right down the bottom of the page.

Hey, that is serious Nissan history. I luv the English translation.

My kids get mails from Japanese students who have stayed with us and they write exactly like that.

I think this info should be in Sky History Stickey.

Seibu Keisatsu.

You're right, it was a Japanese Movie & TV Series that lasted a long time! The first episodes had C10 Skylines... I think it ended with the R30 and S130. The show was sponsored by Nissan, which is why all the police cars are Nissans. That convertible Gazelle and S130 with gullwing doors are from the same show.

Some videos are on YouTube ... here's one

The R30 was called "Machine-X"

Wow thank's DR JOSH ... this info just filled in a huge gap for me and a friend of mine ...

I have spent a fair bit of time in one of these in the mid 90's ( 2000RS-X TURBO C Twin cam turbo engine of 4 valves DOHC ) and we never knew what it was... We had suspicions it was a track car of some sought when we bought but had no real idea...

It had freaky performance to anything we had every encountered before!

he ended up putting a huge turbonetics and EMS on and to this day that car is one of my all time favorites to have driven
