hey, 1st post (yay lol)

anyway, I've just bought a 1993 r32 gts4 sedan and its still standard off-road ride height, was just wondering if i get some GTR adjustable coilovers if they will fit straight into the gts4 being a sedan?

any help is appreciated?

PS: sorry for using an old post

Nope, rear shock mounts are different.

Have a pic of the 4dr you bought? Gts4 r32 sedans are rare. I've got one too.

Have a look under the car, If the rear lower shock mount is a round eye, then it won't.

My car had stock gtr suspension on it, but no telling wether it had been changed previously. I haven't seen a gts4 without gtr matching parts, but they are a heinz57 sort of car so anything is possible.

Haven't got a picture of it at the moment, was gunna take some after i washed it but decided id de-spoiler it first lol and the bungs i had for the spoiler holes dont fit. will take some when i get that sussed

also do they make suspension specifically for the gts4 sedan? coz i definitly dont want to leave it as is coz at the moment u can nearly limbo underneath it

Ohh and do GTST exhaust fit onto GTS4's? Coz the one its got at the moment is 2x3" piping into 2 big bores, not my sortve look and has limited backpressure and one of my mates cousins has a 3" gtst exhaust for sale

Whoo! Another 32 four door GTS-4 owner. :domokun:

You can use GTR coilovers. I've got GTR ones in my car at the moment.

You should be able to use GTSt exhausts on your car, the only difference between GTS-4's and GTSt's is the 4wd system.

Edit: The rear lower shock mounting is the fork style (on my car at least).

I'm fairly certain that the shocks in my car were longest on the front, also that no skyline has a fork for the front shock lower mount, and that in the last pic, there is a big R on the sticker..

Still the easiest way to tell is to get on your back and look under the car at the shock mounting points.. or pull a wheel and it will be obvious.

Just take a look under the rear of the car. You won't even need to jack it up to be able to see the lower mounts. That one on the left in the pics will be the rear and the one on the right will be the front.

    • Use a 2' length of hose (that's 2 foot, not 2 inches) as a stethoscope to localise the source of the ticking. From cam covers? From exhaust or turbo manifold gasket? From injectors? From lower down in the engine? Etc. Use a timing light to set the timing. Put Redline Lightweight Shockproof in the box. It's not the very best thing for the box, but it will take a box that refuses to engage a gear with other oil, and make it engage a gear. I had to put it in when I installed the R33 box I have in my car. It would not select ANY gear when running. Smurf jizz made it work. That was >10 years ago and I still use it. I'm stuck with it now. Failing that - rebuild the box.
    • Well done Duncan. The fuel tank bulkhead lid is also in great condition (some of mine were stuffed). These are now out of production and good ones like that are becoming hard to come by.
    • Wow that's a steal, you've done well there.

    • Howdy all,   I had my rb25det S2 rebuilt and finally started it today but have run into a few issues  Engine sounds like a a diesel easiest way to summarise like small ticking, gets louder when revs are slightly adjusted  The engine builder repainted the engine cover leaving no where for me to go off with lining up the CAS so have it as central as possible so not sure it that could be affecting it?, changed the gearbox fluid too but won’t seem to go into gear when running, and only 1 to 4 when off having a hard time finding 5th and reverse anyone got any ideas or a base for me to start off? much appreciated
