easy wat to tell if they are 240' carbs.... the have a dome top, while the 260' have a square shape top, and i garre with blind elk, if they are 260' carbs ya done ya dough.... they are crap carbs... i gave my last set away, they are that useful!

I was running a set of the 260Z carbs ( I got them free - no surprises) on my C210, and they went like the clappers, until I ran the car low on fuel and fouled them up.

A lot of the complaints about these carbies are they are a pig to tune (many carbie places won't even touch them!), and they suffer from vapor lock issues when things get hot. My theory is due to the bigger grill the under-bonnet temperature of the C210 may be lower than that of the 260Z, so this may be less of an issue for you.

I don't expect anyone to back me up with this, they are a generally much hated carby, but if you already have them, give them a go. Worst case you'll have wasted a few hours and will have to put the single carb back on...

By the way, they do bolt straight up, but from memory you will need to modify your linkage and block off a few loose hoses. Actually, now that I think about it, getting them on and off was a bit of a pain.

Finally, if you have the 240Z carbies, then I wouldn't hesitate to get them on there; all the fun, with potentially far less grief.

Yep, those look like the 240 carbies.

It should run better, and more economically, because the twin manifold allows the engine to breath a bit easier. There should be a small cogged wheel on the underside of the carby that allows adjustment of the fuel jet for setting mixture. The 260 carbs didn't have that adjustment.
