Hi all,

I want to get a custom snorkel type thing made up that runs from my stock airbox to an outlet in my engine bay it is only very small in length but will have two 90 degree turns in it. I was hoping that someone here could recommend a business that they may have dealt with and who might be able to do this ??? i am compiling a list myself but any personal experiance with something like this would be useful

Maybe just go to a wrecker and have a look around at various cars, you might find something that fits. Needless to say you'll pay 6 times what its worth, but it might be cheaper/easier than getting one made up

yea i am just trying to get some quotes but most place don't want to touch it the big reason turning people off is making an adapater onto the standard entrance to the box.

is it worth goin down to your local Trade mart and getting some PVC pipe?

I was toying with the idea of trying it myself but if you have actually seen what i want to do it is no straight forward task

Use your skills...

hacksaw, some PVC glue, Piping and a few angles..

Oh and a few beers.

i would be fine doing 95% of it myself the big trouble as mentioned is finding some sort of adapter to fit onto the stock airbox entry it's a retarted shape

remove it and put a pod on you wont regreat it. lol. On another note change the shape of the out put of the air box to something more suited to parts you can get.
