Then again, its good to see some people have their priorities right, just think how many dollars people waste in the search for the ultimate setup - and graciously share that knowledge so that others dont have to waste it as well (then again is research for such a worthy cause ever waste?) - god bless one and all who have 'too much' money on their hands and thankfully spend it in the right place:D

Who would you sooner buy parts of:

a) the guy who works at a performance shop and drives toyota echo, or

B) the guy who works at a performance shop and drives a skyline that has had thousands of dollars in research thrown at it to get the right set up?

well some thing interesting muight come out of the meet reasearch wise as the cefiro blew a motor I'm considering fitting an sr to it shock horror you say well we will see

would be pretty interesting Meggala, give a better weight distribution and both motors would give similar power for the same mods. Just cant tune the SR computer thats all.

Why? would have thought RB20s are good, cheap(relatively) and reliable engines - a track can kill just about anything cant it?

What are the advantages of the SR20 over the RB20 (pardon my ignorance)?

Steve id say the SR would be lighter as i said, but the RB20 would be cheaper and considering i havent killed my engine yet with 4months of abuse it seems to be very strong. Meggala just wants to be different id say.

yes different and also there is a weight advantage and weight distribution advantage

Spose upgrades could be cheaper too, only have to buy 4 injectors, cheaper manifolds, cams etc.

Besides which, nothing wrong with doing something just for the hell of it - good luck with the project, and (needless to say but I will anyway) keep us all informed:)
