ok herez the story,I was doing a revese parking in a car parking spot near the place I workand there was 2 other spotz besidez me that was free. This old lady (around 40-50) in a old green Honda Civic was right behind me shouted @ me saying

'Hey wat u doing? I want to go through!'

I replyed 'I'm parking, there are two spotz beside me if u want to park.

Then she said ' I want to get out of this car park and your blocking me...'

And I'm like 'WTF? U can reverse out, go around or go besidez me....jesus..'

Then she tryz to drive past me and then 'BOOM'

I get out of my car swearing @ the lady 'WTF are u doing??? Jesus Christ!!!'

I looked @ the damage she done and it was only a scratch on my old stocky rim.

the old lady said ' Oh I'm soo sorry plzzzz, I got no money'

and with the car she was driving, I thought that I'm not gonna get much money out of this old lady anyway...so I let her go...

anyway out of this story.....u rekon it was right to let her go? Or should I have been a real a#sehole and drained money from her? I never been in a car crash 'yet' so just wondering wat I should do...

out of the damage she made, it was a 5 cm scratch from my rimz which the rimz face was peeling off anyway.....my friendz said that I would have got around $20........and a huge waste of time..

Hey I think in away it was very god hearted of you to let her go.

If it was a stock rim that was peeling anyway, its not too bad. If there had been any scratches or body damage I would have gone nuts.

And just think if you do good things then goods things happen to you. :uh-huh:

Least that gives you a reason for you to change your rims, I have given my mum that reason coz one of my back rims has a lil buckle, but my rims are pritty ugly.

You may not take action, but what if she buckled the rim, or damaged the diff., etc. These things you can not see when parked, but while driving home you might feel the car vibrating, or hear something crunching.

It is just a piece of mind, to have something to go back to, if a problem arised. Now that you did not take any details, she can deny it actually happened.

I pulled up into a petrol station last week and this fu*kwit backed into my front bumper collecting the headlight lense at the same time. This was 1 week after I had the car resprayed!! Its a fu*king nuisance more than anything else so I say let em pay!

As Al said, there may have been more than just visual damage so always get details anyway.

yer some Di#k head drove head on into my car today. he was driving on the wrong side of the road.lucky 4 my abs i stoped in time. but he didnt and so he bloody hit the front bumper. i just got some of his red paint on my car thats all. no dints thank god.
