do you have the packaging for the lock nuts?

if you do it should have a code on there somewhere so that you can get replacement socket.

if you dont u will have to use an angle grinder to cut a slot in the nut and then get a chisel and hammer. put the chisel in the groove that is in the lock nut and hit it with a hammer to turn it.

other option is to weld a bar to the nut to turn it.

hope that helps

mmmm..

nah i dont have the package..

shit aye..sounds alot of work,, damnn, but nah thanks dude for the advice, so after i get the nuts out, where can i replace then? just rock up to anything wheel tyre shop get a new package i guess hehe

cheers

Hey guys, i lost my special tool to unlock a nut of the wheeel, therefore i cant even change tyres...

please advice...

Someone who knows what they're doing can remove a lock-nut in about a minute.

You just need to find a socket small enough that it needs to be hammered onto the nut, and fits tight enough so that you can turn it as normal.

Cheers :ermm:

places like bob jane actually put the lock nut code with your details in the computer in case you ever lose it. Of course thats about all BJ is good for. Try going back to the place you bought them if possible and seeing if they still sell it.

(ps when you get a new set make sure you write down the code and brand on your service records/similiar)

Put up apic of your locknut ( a clear close up) or P.M. a pic to me and i'll tell you the best way to get them off ( via P.M.). I dont want to put it up on the forum for obious reasons..

What the other guy said............just get a socket about the right size and smash it over the locknut with a hammer so that it fits tight, then undo it. Its not that hard.

A mate of mine went to beaurepaires and they charged him $50 to get them off. Would've been a lot cheaper to do it the other way.

Go to a tyre place and they'll get em off easy.

If you wanna do it yourself buy some el-cheapo softest metal you can find socket that'll go over it and smash it on with a hammer. Use that for the rest of the wheels. Playing with really big screwdrivers can do it as well.

Just drive your car to the dodgiest looking suburb in town... kick back in a deck chair a good 50m or so away, crack a beer and wait. Some locals will come along and have them off in a jiffy!

...important to stay alert though... so not TOO much beer... (boy that caught me out once)

    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 馃槈. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 馃槏.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 馃檹 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 馃槈. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 馃槏 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
