Free Play In Clutch Pedal

Hi all, recently I have installed new clutch master cylinder along with braided stainless clutch line. Done all the bleeding, but now my clutch pedal has free play. When the pedal is pushed in there is no resistance till about halfway, after that point it feels normal. I’ve found a nut near where the pedal joins clutch master cylinder, originally it was tight and I couldn’t get it anymore tighter so I’ve loosen it, but still no change to the pedal feel. How do I adjust the pedal to get rid of this free play? thanks

i have the same problem, but im still using stock items

mine are still stock, just brand new ones from nissan.
