R32 Gtr A/c Stuck On Heat....

Hi guys,

I have jus recently got my car back an wen i tried to use the a/c it blows out max heat! i have read in some mags that the r32's r known to have the heat stuck on "ON" mode.....as the days r gettin hotter, i was jus wonderin if any1 would no how to solve this problem.

can u turn the temp down? or does it just on hot on the display?

if the temp changes on the display but the air stays hot

press the AMB air temp button and see what it reads

if it reads -30 then check the outside temp sensor

located behind the front bar on the bonnet latch support bar

it could be faulty or not plugged in

Mine is also very dodgy, having to hit the buttons quite hard somtimes to 'shock the system' off

Hmm...I sense a common R32 prob'? Mine would,although VERY infrequently,not acyually come down the temp range:stay on 20 degrees,resisting any button pushing to bring it down,but would go up a degree each time you hit the button. Usually reset itself if I turned it all off and started again. I thing 2GU UP's post may shed some light on the subject! As my car is in bits,I'll investigate further...
