Banjo Fitting For Bosch950 Pump

ive got an external fuel pump its a bosch 950 its got a barb fitting on one end and a bango on the other.

can i just remove the banjo ang replace it with a brass fitting?

im not sure as its a one way valve thing aswell, its probably there for a reason?

the pump is for an inline setup on an r32

my 040 had this same banjo fitting on it

just unscrewed that from the end of the pump, then bought a check valve for around $50 from motorsport connections, which allowed me to run a speedflow fitting onto the fuel hose.
