hey peoples if i make a bell mouth and fit it to the front of my turbo inlet and run a bigger pipe to feed it will it give me any gains to power? the turbo is a standard rb 25 one

HPi tested the apexi intake bell mouth (bolts onto the AFM instead of a filter) and reported gains..

cant remember exactly how much - could have been from not running a filter at all..

ah hello thats why i am asking questions , power or performance gains as in the same you would get from velosity stacks on carbs eg different lenghts ,sizes to what the air flow into the turbo would go through

My educated guess would be its the "poofteenth" of power gained is really not a true measure.

More of the fact it was a few hours apart and the temp changed 5-6 degree's giving a ~6-9rwkw gain.

Could be less.

OR

The stocker intake pipe is a problem as it is sucking shut dude to upgrade turbo or a poor quality pipe that has degraded and is soft... hence the closing under increased boost levels.

Other than that, i cant see a gain at all unless it is degraded as per the above
