hey guys i know it may of been posted before, but what can i do to my r34 gtt thats running a bit to rich is it possible for a diy or would i have to go somewhere

All skylines run rich its cause the stock ecu does it to protect the engine. Now if your running a aftermarket ecu just go get it re-tuned. If not just go out but a cheap second hand safc II get it tuned and your sweet

my non turbo r33 is running rich, i dont see a point in buying an safc.

i havent had it serviced since i got it in may.

DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYWHERE GOOD TO TAKE MY CAR IN MELBOURNE TO GET A SERVICE!!? (rather then just taking it to a nissan dealership)

im burning through petrol like its a turbo since i put on a huge muffler =/

Getting it serviced isn't likely to do much to fix ^^..

as for fixing it running rich - $1000 powerfc, $500 tune.. that's the answer..

just buy a safc. that is the cheapest/safest way to lean it out. as for the service, most mechanics will do it.

and don't take it for a don't take it for a dyno tune thinking that it will help, as there isn't anything they can do to the stock ecu to change it.

You could try a Fuel Cut Defender which will help and get you more power.

R34 ECU's can be remapped. $600+ dyno time i think. (Dr Drift)

Cheap as.

I think you will find the chipping and retune costs more than that. Also I am yet to see a good result from this.
