Paint Fade?

Hey People's,

I'm looking at purchasing a yellow R34 and my only concern is that will it fade alot quicker than most colours?

I have seen other makes of cars with similar colours and in a few years the colour has faded quite a bit.

i think it also comes to how often they are polished. a lot of cars don't get properly polished very often, so they fade. if they are buffed every few months they will always look good.

The advantage of lighter colours is that they probably won't be affected by acid rain marks - this is a common problem on dark blue and black cars (soarers are notorious for this)

yellows are a nice color for 34s...don't be put off by the fact they MAY fade easier than other colors..all boils down to whether the car is always garaged...washed and polished regularly...etc...any color would fade and turn to crap if left out all day and night and only washed once a mth ...

Thank christ we don't see acid rain here in Adelaide.
