Hi there! Anyone got the same problem? When the engine is cold, cold weather it idle or start well. When the engin is cold while the weather is hot, it is sometime hard to start and will idle very bad for a short period of time (1-2min) and then goes ok? What is wrong? Same said that the fuel line swell during hot weather that causes that. Is That true? How do we grt around it and fix that! Any comments?

I had problems with my old Silvia that are the same as your describing, it was fine on cold starts or in cold weather but would idle like a pig in hot weather and even stall, I was told it was the Idle Air Control Valve that was faulty so I replaced this but that didnt fix it, then ended up taking it to Unigroup Engineering and he put it on the dyno and played around with the timing and a few other sensors and it fixed it, so yeah maybe look into doing something like that.
