Howie, you added in a piece of wood on your boot shelf? How you mounted it? Screwed it onto?

Single piece of wood, that's made to fit the space behind the rear bench. It's really tight so you have to force it in there, no screws. I could've made a right angle bracket and screwed it onto that but it stayed on so tight anyhow i thought it wasn't necessary.

mines underneath the drivers seat and is a 4 channel pretty big one too...fits nicely, has been there for more than a yr no dramas..nicely hidden away too...

that amp is roughly the same size jon, should fit under the drivers one.

Can't remember the clearance, but you might want to see how much leg room is left after you put the amp under the driver seat.. Last thing you want is someone "stepping" on your amp...

With passenger seat, it might not be a very good option if it is a coupe... just 2c worth. ;)

Thanks mate. Your install looks good.

Today I managed to squeze the amp under the drivers seat. Changed the front door speakers to 5" and added in tweeters. It doesn't really sound good coz there's no bass. I left the rear speakers as it is from the factory. Perhaps I need to change that as well?
