Little Switches On Clutch And Acelerator

howdy all. I was just under my dash adjusting my clutch when i noticed a couple of switches attached to the tops of the peddles. one on the accelerator and one on the clutch. since i have had a manual conversion done, the one on the clutch is not connected but there is a plug next to it that will fit it. does anyone know what they are for??

Clutch could be/have been for cruise control. It would cut the cruise when pressed.

The one for the accelerator is most likely the old kick down switch for the auto.

Im not sure about the 33 but the 31 had one that switched off the aircon when you floored it.

the one on the accelerator is to engage "sports" mode in the auto when you floor it
