Guys here is the artwork I have but remember this is artist impression only. The end result will purely depend on the skill of the person in control of the machinery and how much time is spent on the initial setup of the die.

PM Mr_g

he had one on his r33..

Think he payed 25 bucks.. but from memory he bought it from a member on here!!

I got some pics of this old 33.. but nothing up close..

But looked very nice tho..

The GTS badge that krzysiu posted up is the one I didn't like because it looks blatantly fake.

here's one of the the vector designs I used for making the SAU logo ages ago. I made the S sorta using the same curves and dimensions as the font of the original GTR logo. Its fairly easy for me to swap the R with the S to make up a GTS logo, the only problem is converting that concept to a prototype for a badge.

Also something to note is that the R32 GTR logo is different to the R33 and R34 ones, the one I've done is based on the R34. So guys with R32 GTS' might not like em (if you're as pedantic as me about these things).

I've done some casting and resin work before, so I'll give it a shot, and see if I can knock out a prototype.

it would look heaps better if it was just GTS in a line wiht a red 'S'

kinda like the old-school GT-R badges

yeah toyed with the idea of havin the old C10 look badge. I mean... if you really wanted you could get the standard GTS badge (not the sticker, all skylines R32 onwards came with the option of badges or stickers) and recolour the S in red.

Shan,

if you could lets us know how you go it would be great,

Maybe work out the degree of difficulty in making the three diffrent sorts (R32,33, 34) and a price accordingly.

For the guys with gt-t maybe look at GT(over)T ?

Let us know.

at last count i think there was 10 or so that wanted them,

Cheers mate

Hi Scott,

Yep, i still make them. Dont do them very often, but alwats happy to do one

for someone. Who sent you my way?

I can do them in Aluminium with a custom colour "S", and laquered with UV

resistant resin laquer. Normally people have a red "S" but its your choice.

Price is $45 AUS delivered.

Cool I would like an all alloy one with (no red S). Im not real keen on the one posted on the first page the S does not look right.

Has anyone see the on that green R33 GTST it was in the first ignition DVD and has been in a couple of mags I think. It belongs to thizzle on these forums very nice car and it has the best GTS badge ive even seen. here is a pic

Using this style (above) would be my first preferance

The one on the green 33 also looks spot on, especially if we can get the "S" in red.

Let Me Drive: Scott that just doesn't look right at all

    • neither stumble or cut really seem to be an appropriate term....hard to explain its like a rev limiter but at 4k, but it violently shakes engine and entire vehicle as the rpms will not rise over 4k, even with slow acceleration. as soon as it hits 4k, it sounds like entire spark is lost entirely. plugs were 1.1 which I used as such, but later put in new plugs gapped down to .8 changed back after issue arose when I replaced the coils, still does it with either plug gap...damn and it was all running so good.
    • Oh how times have changed! I actually lean it out relative to my water/methanol injector duty cycle. The methanol adds a lot of fueling and you can then lean it out even more due to reduced knock.
    • Yeah my thoughts are the same, a well thought out WMI setup, would be slightly ahead of just straight E85 and you're also chemically intercooling the charged air, dropping it even further. This is why you need to add so much more fuel as soon as you spray. I remember someone taking me through their set up before (Dennis, has a R33, lives around Cabramatta - no idea if he's still around on this forum). He would target AFR 10:1 on 98, then as WMI ramped on, AFR would lean back up to 11:1. Amazingly, he did this all through his PowerFC, a relay to cut power to his EBC solenoid if there was not enough line pressure on his WMI kit. And of course, if there wasn't any boost made above gate pressure, you wouldn't be accessing the load cells with heaps of timing for WMI. One downside to that rudimentary setup, once the WMI came on, the EBC would unleash the dragon, and of course all the timing. Tyres would fry lol.
