?? I thought it was mandatory, as it controlled the sparking for the coils?? must be wrong. Mine definitely has it.

sure it just isn't relocated in the engine elsewhere? could be have been done on later models for heat reasons.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that it's just relocated cause I'm currently using a 1993 ECU in my 1995 car and it works fine (other than the damn flat spots being more noticable :D )

So I'd say the module is somewhere else. :uh-huh:

you can check splitfires.. there are two different partnumbers - one for the early R33 with a seperate Ignitor, another for late model R33's with the ignitor built into the Coilpack.
