Beer Baron
FI is Forced induction section. your thread has been incorrectly moved there. it should be in Naturaly Aspirated performance. it has now been moved by me to NA Performance section. TurboX
See that SEARCH Button up top? Its your best friend on this forum, as there is SO MUCH INFO in posts here that has answered your question a hundred times over. And to be honest that is a pretty open ended question depending on your starting point or more specific, what engine/chassis combo. scathing
You will make at least 5rwkW with those mods. Possibly more, but I don't want to set false expectations. nfi
Can I suggest you jump on google and on this forum and search for what each of those things you mention do. Slapping a whole lot of products together doesn't necessarily mean you make power. eg. forged pistons- make no additional horsepower and are simply stronger Fuel pump- makes you no additional power. You only add it when your standard one can't supply enough fuel to make the power you want to make 1000cc injectors- these make you no power either and they would be over kill for a car with less than 900hp. You also need an aftermarket computer to run different injectors. My advice would be to leave the car standard and enjoy the car how it is and take it to track days where you can learn how to drive. Then once you get off your P's buy a turbo car and you will then get much better value for money when you modify it. scathing
You can put forged internals into a NA car and see benefits. "Strength" isn't as important in a NA car as you're not looking at winding up the boost and generating more force per each power stroke. Instead of using them for their strength, you take that extra strength per unit material and make the pistons lighter instead, which lets you run a higher redline. WazR32GTSt
ok mate listen up you have an NA R32 - that's probably the rb20de engine.. not really a lot to work with here. sure your car still looks great, handles great, and probalby stops great too. but it ain't got much balls.. there's not really much you can do about it unfortunately stock rb20de probably will make about 80rwkw given its age to make the most out of what you have, i'd suggest: - extractors, high-flow cat, 2.5" exhaust ($1000) - high-flow panel airfilter in stock airbox ($80) - ECU re-tune and time on the dyno to adjust base timing etc. ($500) that should bring you up to around 100-110rwkw if you're lucky my advice? drive and enjoy what you have, and save for something a bit bigger and better later on in the mean time read as much as you can on SAU because its clear that you don't know too much about how cars work. use the search function of the forum before you ask any questions and you will find more info than you even need. at the end of the day don't be afraid to ask something even if you get bagged for it. best of luck, Warren Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/134960-performance/#findComment-2517339 Share on other sites
