Blitz_boy
Hi everyone, Just got an R34 gt-t turbo from Yahoo. It came with a HKS actuator. I notice that the actuator flap is not fully closed. Is this right, or should I adjust it to close properly? Thanks for your help. paulr33
yeah if its not closed, it wil always bypass exhaust gas so it will be mega laggy to make boost and probably lack top end. it should be fully closed Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/134997-just-bought-an-r34-turbo-with-hks-acuator/#findComment-2510624 Share on other sites
Blitz_boy
Thanks Paul, to close the flap do I just wind out the thread on the actuator. Wont this affect the boost it makes? Abo Bob
That's probably all you need to do. And if you keep winding it past where it first closes it I guess you would be increasing the boost. If you don't need it I can swap you with my stock one with cash adjustment.
