damm i miss out on all the good shit..[/quote:fe8cbf34cb]

I missed it too!!!! :x

I guess nemesis was not too happy with the NBHDU thing.

I've just been to SDU and the only thread is a sticky by skyzerr with no posts yet. What happened to all the other replies?

I think it read along the lines of:

[i:7b11eee5e6]Why don't you call yourselves NBHDU-Aus.

Ask Squizz and HUSTLR what it means........[/i:7b11eee5e6]

Pete, I spose you rank his efforts up there with what Razor, Spectre, R32GTR and others like that have done then huh???

nah - i didnt word it very well.. i was just commenting on the amount of negativity that seems to be floating around at the moment.

I asked Nemisis to remove that post and he did.

He has a right to be upset, he was one of the few NZers to offer help in getting The Australian club started, gave me a pile of information and then gets that in return. Squizz and a few others in my opinion need to take a good hard look at themselves, think about what they are writing and consider there consquences. All they are doing in the serious threads which are trying to get results and a club organised is put things off track and causinf problems. Squizz is a funny guy and I like him but for some things he has to realise the universe doesn't revolve around him. Nem and the other NZers are open to constructive critisism not petty bickering and vindictiveness. They have a club which was quite successful, then a few personality clashes between the exec's and some of the rubbish on the forum (for which i was also a part of) caused that once great club to start going down hill. They stepped in with a plan to fix the problem, they decided to do the forum first which is well within there rights and all they got was crap for it. If we can't learn from that there isn't much point to forming an Australian club, as it want last long or be very much fun.

sorry bout previous comments, i just saw that and didnt know the whole stroy..

anyway, i agree, there are some anim gifs progs that can do the morphing for u and size isnt too big.

i would be happy to moderate website if u want - i only go to uni and dont work so i usually have free time :)

regarding the web site, i wouldn't mind doing it, i have a fair bit of experience and am currently starting my own business on the side of my full time job.

we can't be getting too far ahead now anyway, we have way too many other things to get done prior to that.

For the Record I did NOT post anything to do with NBHDU on SDU forums, so what am I in the shit for this time? I have apologized for my behaviour so back off.

    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
    • From memory, on the R33 GTSt at least, while everyone says "It's not adjustable", I found when I changed clutches in mine, it just needed a small adjustment on the rod length. But be very wary here, as you could end up trying to push the pushrod in the master too far, or blowing out the slave.   Most likely though, if the master/slave isn't bypassing internally or leaking out, then the throw out is the wrong height compared to the fingers on the clutch, so when it moves to disengage the clutch, it isn't 100% disengaged. You can check part of this out too by jacking the car up, having the engine running, put your foot on the clutch and try to engage 1st gear. If it goes in pretty easy (Compared to the ground) and/or the wheels start turning a fair bit and it takes a bit too much brake pedal to bring them back to a stop, this is likely the issue.  I'm not sure if you can adjust the height of the forks etc in these though, it's been that long since I've touched any RB gearbox.
    • That's all good, I thought I was missing some interesting feature! Maybe @PranK can double check if that is something that is meant to be operating or not.
    • I hope that is not something that bad. From what i remember he said that only first gear is "hard" to get in and that he has couple of ideas what to try next but idk 😕  hope it is not gearbox out. I will let you know.
    • If it's not the hydraulics, it is probably gearbox back out. Usually as per @Duncan's post, or otherwise associated with not getting the throwout fork positioned correctly. All the way up to catastrophically bolting shit back together without it being aligned properly and wrecking the clutch/input shaft/flywheel/something else.
