I'm returning my car to stock to trade it in, so the turbo is coming off also.

GCG hiflow, which costs over $2000 for gcg to carry out the work. plus you have to supply the stock turbo for them.

I checked it about 1000-2000kms ago and there was no shaft play or leaking seals. It's never blown smoke etc.

can easily be boosted to 20psi+, but never seen over 1 bar.

Price is $1600 for the turbo, or $1300 plus good cond. stock turbo.

located in melbourne.

if sold before next sunday, i'll have some time to do both turbo removal and installs. (for a bit extra of course)

theres some pics from when i checked it, they were the only ones i got on my phone.

price now $1200 with swap, or $1400 without.

i'd say 20-30,000kms on the turbo. max boost this things seen is 1 bar, which is a walk in the park for this thing. i just never got the injectors n afm to go any higher.

not sure exactly what rpm i saw 10psi, but this thing felt like it had the same lag as stock. from just watching the boost gauge and the revs, it seemed like it hit 1 bar at approx 3000rpm. its still on the car so i can take you for a spin if you want and you can feel it for yourself.

just saw your in nsw so maybe the spin option will be a bit difficult. lol

Yeah, if only I was in Melbourne it would be so easy... I'm keen on the turbo, but can't be without my current turbo for a few weeks waiting for yours to arrive (as I need the car on the road)

my numbers 0423 366 118. call me when you find out to give me some notice. It's currently running 10psi on a stock computer, but it's still quicker than my mates r34 gtt running 1 bar.

    • Only reason I started replacing hoses was I went for a short drive to the shop the other day and finished shopping and started the car and started to drive off and could see a big trail of fuel in the rear view mirror. Parked up and found the bottom hose to the fuel filter had busted. Lucky I was near a car part store and was able to get a replacement hose and back on the road. But got me thinking I had owned that car for around 20 years and was all original fuel hoses so probably time to replace all of the fuel hoses. Was pretty lucky it went where it did.

    • I was just going to replace the fuel line and keep the stock one, but they do look pretty nice lol.
    • Are you going to delete the stock damper or are you just replacing the fuel lines and keeping the stock damper?  There are also options for sexy ones if the stock one is too ugly for you lol -  https://www.radiumauto.com/Fuel-Pulse-Damper-Inline-Kits-P751.aspx or https://www.radiumauto.com/Fuel-Pulse-Damper-Direct-Mount-Kits-P759.aspx So sexy.
    • I think you guys are right. The only reason I thought it was a restrictor was I had seen the same yellow band on the r32 boost restrictor. Will just replace with a standard fuel hose. Thank you for your speedy replies. I'm sure I'll have many other silly questions.
