Oil Pressure Guage?

Hi guys, What should the Oil pressure guage be reading? or is it something that isnt very accurate and shouldnt be looked at in detail?

i wanna know what it shouldnt go beyond or below...

Sometimes the factory oil presure gauge tends to do what it wants - pretty common thing.

When the oil is warm and just cruising around mine will sit at the midway point (about 4). At idle when warm about 2ish.

When stone cold at idle it'll go upto about 6ish.

I think it depends partly on the type of oil you us too.

yeah it depends on the type of oil you use and how old it is..

When i start my car it goes up to about 5ish. but quickly goes to the mid point, when you fang it then you will see it rise too.
