Don't know if I can answer this for you fully, but, you can't put a ApexiPFC into an auto skyline for one reason or another. Something to do with ignition cut!?!? It's half an answer until someone else can help you...

I've "heard" that auto and manual computers are indeed different in the timing department.. for example auto computer changes timing from when car is in nuteral to when d is selected (but changing some wiring can fix this when converting to manual so it tricks the computer to thinking its constantly in d), while in a manual computer timing is constant(?)... don't take my word for this, because i've also read mixed reports that they are the same....either way if you can get them rechipped to what you want....
