Hi guys I am gonna be getting some new rims for my car soon and I dunno about the offsets and stuff like that for the car, I've done a few searches but have no clue lol. Anyway I was after 17 inch Volk f-zero challenge rims. Also what would happen to the spare tire in the car? do I need to get 5 17 rims to put 1 spare in the boot? Thanks!

Regarding the spare... No, you don't need to get 5 17" rims. But you can if you want.

If you ever need to use the spare though, only use it temporarily and NEVER, EVER but it on the rear.

If one of your rear tyre's blows, replace it with one of the wheels from the front, and put the space saver on the front.

This won't kill your LSD as fast as putting the space saver on the rear will.

You might have a working LSD, but you will also have reduced steering response and braking grip!

I'm pretty sure that you only ever use the space saver on the rear. If you get the correct size tyres fitted to the new rims, then you should have the correct rolling diameter to not put any stress on the diff.

Agreed...............

Fit the space saver on the rear. I'd rather have braking and handling, any day.
