Howdy all

I am new to the site, and after going thru and typing typing, I noticed up top of the page it said not for new posts but they do transfer them there raontf pmsl. Where would I post such an item??

Look forward to reading all on this site when I get the chance...you are all very informative and/or interesting!

Cheers and beers

Welcome to Skylines Australia

You will find that when you transfer the post to the top of page, the marker for new posts is reset to the bottom of the page. When the markers reach half way up the page the new post is then added to the bottom. If the amount of letters you have typed exceeds 100, then the the post is automatically moved to the latest section, usually corresponding to the time of day, but only on weekends. During the week - your post is automatically updated in whatever location your post is finished from..

That should make it a bit clearer! :P

Damn..... i thought i spoke this language.

My interpretation was:

"I have some information which i would like to add to the tutorial/DIY section, and i'm not sure where i should post it so that it can be moved in there"

(i think?) :P

    • Neo IACVs have water plumbed into/out of them to provide the heat to close the AAC. I am also unsure about vanilla 25s, but maybe the extra plumbing on that is water.

    • I found this in another thread, now I'm second guessing myself and thinking there was a vac line from near the throttle body to up to the IACV too.   https://saufiles.s3.ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/post-59171-1251456228_thumb.jpg
    • Hey Duncan,  What ports are on the plenum itself? The new part welded up for the AAC looks like it's a T Piece to go upto brake master, and the other side into the plenum to feed air in. Brake master vac line on R33 from memory has a one way valve inside of it I believe (middle of pipe). I'll check mine tonight when I get home, I think that pipe is still sitting on my R33. You're also testing my memory, but I don't believe the R33 has a cold start valve, it just has the IACV doesn't it? That second smaller port on the IACV itself from factory, goes down and under the inlet manifold, but I can't remember what it plumbs to.
