What are the current mods on the car?

Depending on what you have done already its quite possible.

the current mods as far as i know are pod filter, exhaust, bov. when i bought the car i was told the engine was putting out more standard then most skylines wihch i thought was a little bullshit, the guy was just probably talking up the car so id buy it, but i had it dyno'd at 170 at the rear wheels.

the exhaust would have automatically increased the boost level...unless you still have the factory 2 stage boost solenoid hooked up.

in which case, you'd have 7psi below 4500rpm, and 9psi after 4500rpm, so your figure of 170rwkw would have been acheived at 9psi...not 7.

  • 2 weeks later...

check out the force induction thread

there are plenty of stock turbo and engine setups that are achieving 200rwkw

just make sure your exhaust is actually a turbo back thats straight as fark as the stock front pipe is tiny as!
