Bout To Fit An Fmic. Will The Car Need Tuning

I have an R33 and recently bought a hybrid fmic. some people say should be fine with out tuning and others say it will need tuning. thought id come on here and ask other skyline owners. will also be installing boost control.

Well if you are running everything stock and chucking on a fmic dont think you need to tune anything. You will need a powerfc or get your ecu chipped to make it tunable.

I dont hear any mention on a powerfc or anything tunable so i think that comment is a bit useless

if you have stock ecu then there is nothing you can do to tune it. and don't take it to a dyno thinking they can tune the stock ecu, because they can't. you'd just be paying for a power run.

The stock ECU will take on a FMIC no worries. It will even allow you to boost it up to 10 PSi no worries as long as you have a FMIC. Have fun
