h all

just wondering if someone could tell me whats going on here...

when i drive normally i dont blow smoke but when i boot it this light brown coloured smoke pours out only once the revs get higher, like around 6000rpm...

it does it in 1st, 2nd and not so much in 3rd gears

power doesnt drop or anything, just this huge amount of light brown smoke pouring out my exhaust...

any help or suggestions would be great

thanks

chris

i was under the impression that light brown smoke was infact coolent. Black is fuel, white is oil.

Check your raidator for oil, just pull the cap off and check for oil.

Also check under oil cap for white foaming (water in oil)

Light brown Smoke is usually exhaust dust ! It usualy form's in cars that arnt driven very hard or the breakdown of materials in the muffler from heat and corsion over time.

the smokes :unsure:

Blue = burnt oil

Black = fuel

White steamy vapour = water

White steamy strange smelling = coolant

White sticky hovering vapour = unburnt oil

Brown exhaust = dust

Pretty blue and pink = Autotrans

Has the car been sitting for along time with out a good hard drive ?
