OK In all honesty I do think the Osborne Park one has got the best "scenery so to speak!" I have been to every one of them except for Vic Park and Rockingham oh and Tuart Hill which is a ladies club and wasn't allowed.. Spewin! i thought i might have gotten in when i wore my sexy miny skirt and boob tube but still no luck! anyways....:P

Look I know it makes me sounds like i am doing the sales pitch but i honestly beleive Osborne park has THE best scenery.... keep in mind that Scarborough Beach is 2 mins away so it's quite popular for the bikini bakers :)

If you guys don't beleive me please go whether i am working there or not on a tuesday or wednesday at 5:30.... then you will understand..

I went to Mt Lawley the day of the Madi Gras! The Gayest suburb in WA on the Gayest day in WA ... scenery wasn't at it's best let me tell ya:( Sorry to all Mount Lawley people but that was the 1st impression i got off the club....

GO JASH! we will have you bench pressing RB26's yet!!!:uh-huh: and bicep curling JIC coilovers :)

  • 3 months later...

Well i thought there was no point startig a new thread ..... and since me and Dan used to work at the same place its pretty relevant.

As you all know after many contract renewals my time at the Department of Industry and Resources was due to finish today ..... i was prepared for a lesiurely week or two off (ok a VERY budgeted two weeks off) temp etc til Adelaide.

Department of Industry and Resources said good bye to me today .... gave me a pressie last week had another piss up for lunch today ....... so staggering back to the office i get in the elevator and my old boss (ive been thru a couple at my time there) comes up to me and very sternly says "Lauren i need to see you - could you step into my office" thinking 'Shit what have i done now!!!' I do so ....... He offers me a job with his team (leaving the other team im not enjoying it with! yay) til i go to Adelaide :):D:) .... so here i am trying to accept the job and look intelligent but half tanked and breath smelling of wine haha so unfortunately theres no break for me ....... fortunately im earning money for the intercooler fund!!

So i thougt i would just share my good luck with you all - and all the people i promised to get around to seeing on my time off .... sorry no rest for the wicked i guess :D

Niz

Woah this thread is a blast from the past!

Good on ya Niz! so there is a lesson to be learnt from Niz... if you are looking for an internal job or promotion get really drunk then eye off the other boss till he gives into your desires! ahaha!!

ONYA NIZ! well done Yay for the FMIC!

    • The R32 suffers from an instrument binnacle that is uncomfortably close to the design of a VN Commodore's. But beyond that, the layout of the rest of everything, and the materials (ie the vinyl coverings on dash, armrest, etc) are acceptable, and the patterns on the fabrics are not as blergh as those in the R33. And R33 seats are....quite unattractive. I know it's only small details there, but I reckon the R33 got worse than the 32. But the big blergh is the overall shape of the dash on the R33. It's just has that whole Maxima/Pulsar sort of look to it. Nothing special at all. Generic Nissan sedan. Whereas, at least the R32 dash/binnacle was different. Less a wide expanse of boringly curved plastic. More a "cockpit" sort of look, even if nowhere near to the degree that the A90 Supras got. R34 seats look good on their own, until you realise that they are indistinguishable from the shape and fabric on 70 other Japanese cars. And the foam bolsters on them suffer even worse than the earlier cars. Other than that I don't really have an opinion the rest of the R34 interior. I took the bits of the R34 I wanted (brakes and engine) and added them to the best external appearance Skyline in the modern era (the 32). So nyerr!
    • Can I be your first customer? I would like hard lines done for the fuel system, 8AN up and 8AN back and the underside wire wheeled and coated (brush or sprayed) with that black tar shit.
    • Speak for yourself, I love the R33 interior. 32 is blergh. I like the 34 interior too. Then you start getting much newer in most cars and they all turn back to blergh. 馃槢
    • 500-600hp into a RB is already 'sinking endless amounts of money' into an engine. Especially a 30 year old engine. Unfortunately this is the RB Game. Considering stock power (or at least stock components) will do ~360whp on 98 by simply turning up the boost on the stock gear on a RB26, that would be where I'd say the cutoff point for "sinking endless amounts of money into the engine" Cause to even do this reliably you'd probably need to replace all the bits anyway cause they're old, starting your sinking journey anyway. I reckon the least painful way is rebuilding the engine to make 50hp over stock lol. The 'plan your ownership around a rebuild' was a common saying 15 years ago.
