Just a heads up I found Canberra motorcylce centre to have a good range but were not really flexable on the price where as Joe's pretty much knocked 10 - 20% off without asking. (sorry Jayce)

Might go off to fishwick and visit a few motorbike shops see what i can find!
Now im another step back from going, the wheels i payed for yesterday are damaged apparently so im guessing no track day. :)

how bad are they damaged? are they cracked or buckled? if you cant get your money back, take em to the wheel factory in queanbeyan. they'll be able to let you know how bad the wheel is damaged, and how much it'll cost you to have em fixed. worst comes to worst, just use your std wheels...

I need to know where to find a cheap helmet, went down to racing revolution, and everything starts around $800... thats a little expensive for helmet isnt it?

look in the paper or ebay for 2nd hand helmets. they'll be much cheaper too. you dont need a full-on pro racing helmet. i only use an open-faced old-school helmet which does the job. also be aware that you will get very hot driving around the track, so i also like the open-faced idea cause it helps keep you cool.

their worth it when it comes to doing a track day. one less thing i have to worry about, like my brakes fading! how much did you get quoted for and where from? apparently there are only 2 places in the country that make them ADR approved for skylines.... (which mine are :) )
i paid $360 for front and rear braided lines (including postage)....

whered you get yours from? i got mine locally for A LOT less, and ADR approved, dickson had a problem with them, cos i didint have an engineers for them, took it to a highly regarded engineer and he had no worries with them

ok, so, i was thinking, depending on how many people are going, about organising a meeting point and time for those that wanna cruise up as a group. so in my 1st post, i'll do up a list of all those who will be coming along and the meeting time and place...

Meet: Shell servo at EPIC

Time: 7am for a 7.15am leave...

some may think this is early, but remember, it'll be busy as it is a saturday and it'll take time to get ourselves signed on and paid for and to strip everything out of our cars before the event.

so who's coming along? MIVEC? SupaFly? you guy's interested? anyone else?
