Hey People,

Instead of creating a new post I thought I would change this!

I Have noticed my car not sitting flat, So i tried to adjust the coilovers to even it out.

When I has my S13 it was quite easy to do, but on the R34 it's a totally different setup.

To lower the car, I lowered the spring retaining seats, But for me to lower it the same height has the other side the spring is uncompressed and the other site it still has plenty of thread.

Also the same with the rear.

It has HKS Damper coilovers, from looking on the HKS website they look identical to the Hipermax one's.

Is one side of the car that much more heavier than the other? Or have my springs sagged?

Cheers

Josh

There are 2 rings under the spring. But I have adjusted them down a fairbit and the height hasn't changed.

Do you compress the spring to raise or lower?

I Did find that if I raised the lower ring it raised the vehicle slightly.

On my S13 i could see quite a large difference with only the slightest adjustment.

Not sure if its the same...but with my Teins, I wind the rings UP to increase the height...at the same time compressing the springs...to lower it, u wind it down...The two rings should be moved up or down together..

Some coilovers are the opposite apparently.
