it works, but the tune data is different

it might just feel flat and empty

i had a series 1 remap on my car

it worked, but mega boggy + laggy

so i guess u could say it didnt :laugh:

Unless you set it up with that ecu for when the GF needs to borrow the car :)

No problem, as such.

The series 2 ECU has the ignitor built into it, whereas the series 1 motors have the ignitor bolted over the back of the coilpack cover.

2) Check FS area! =-]

They should both be completely interchangable.

The ignitors are in the coils not the ecu on series 2.

The ecu controls the dwell, which will be the same as they are really same size coils.

Unsure why you would encounter any trouble what so ever.

wrong. the series 2 ignitor is in the coils. i have a series 1 ecu in a series 1.5 motor (series 2 coils) and it works fine.
