Is My Car Overboosting?

hey guys, my car is stock as a rock besides a pod and 3` catback, on my r34 gtt, when i rip it and look at the stock boost gauge, it goes up to 0.8-0.9bar of boost? I only thought it would increase when i get a full exhaust, there are no signs of boost controller, hmm is this normal or not good,

i wouldnt put too much faith in the stock boost gauge as they are not the most accutate after years of use

i'd get an aftermarket gauge to be sure.

I have a full exhaust and pod and yes sometimes the guage reads 0.9 as well, very close to 1 which is around 14psi.

I have no other mods at all so no way my car is running 12-13psi.

I am guessing the gauge is faulty? time for a new one
