Got a couple of issues that have started to bother me with my 33gtst

Only engine mods are cat back exhaust and pod filter

Problem 1 - On an incline when i start the car, the revs drop below 500rpm and it stalls. Start the car and the same again. When i rev the car it revs smoothly, but then drops to 500rpm and stalls. Move the car to flat ground and its fine

Problem 2 - which i think is the sparkplugs - on a hot day the car doesnt misfire at all, however on a cooler day or at night it misfires terribly

I have inspected the coils and i dont think its them, as on a 30 degree day it doesnt misfire

Im going to clean the aac valve to see if it fixes problem 1

If anyone can provide some insight that would be great

Cheers

J

mine was doing this, also stalling at the lights when i pulled up,first changed spark plugs fixed the misfire and second the air flow meter was stuffed changed it over for another one and bingo all probs goooone.

what boost are you running?

The colder temperatures might be enough to cause a slight increase in boost, enough for your coils not to be able to cope, or forcing the ECU into R&R mode.

I had a similar problem with my car stalling but on any surface. No idea whether it was related, but I tightened my power steering belt (it was screeching for a few seconds on startup) and the problem has disappeared.
