We got one of these with a kit off ebay, they are designed for a truck where the dumppipe is a cast piece with like a piston ring arrangement that attached to the manifold. I was going to turn up a flange and drill and tap the ex housing to attach said flange, but the turbo was nothing special, so i didn't end up bothering. If you really want to run this turbo, you could send me the housing and i can get a mate to turn up a dump pipe flange that will fit it, and then drill and tap the housing

it's a truck turbo no doubt about it. that type of dump attachment is not really used on passenger cars. I hope you bought it for your truck.

yeh were u going to run one of these turbos? it looks like a pretty good turbo given the exhaust side will flow really well, where are u located? and any idea how much to make the flange and drill/tap it?

Dude, that housing is something that would suit a rotor... not something for a piston motor. Miles too large.

Simply, you should have done some research before handing over your cash as you've been had well totally...

This is yet another unfortunate example that you shouldnt buy performance parts off ebay if you dont know 110% what they are.

To solve this you can do one of two things.

1) Take it to a turbo specialist and have them try source a much smaller housing that will suit the application if you wish to keep it.

Or

2) My personal opition, put it in the bin. Buy a turbo thats designed for a piston motor to start with.

cheers

may i ask anyone on here wat they compaired the turbo size to there is no way you can tell if its big or small only buy wat he is tellin us

dude take it to the local turbo joint where you live talk to them you will be able to make a dump for it ive seen bigger applaications in my time
