there is no such thing as carbon dipping, you cant dip something in cloth.... grrr >_<

they stick a layer or two of carbon ontop of the original peice, then a few coats of gel coat, then clear coat and polish it up

its called "carbon overlay" and there is no dipping involved.

midnight - your wrong, it is dipped. do your research before you go talking shit

All products that we Modicoat are sanded and prepared to a smooth surface, then primed and spray painted with a basecoat colour (for example brown for a wood finish). Then they are 'dipped' through a gel-like film imprinted with your chosen pattern (for example the grain pattern for a woodgrain finish). The product is then cleaned and baked and finally clear coated with a protective two pack clear coat. This is the same clear coat as is used to protect the outside of metallic painted cars.

The patterns are 100% lightfast and the finished product is as durable as the outside of your car. No surprise that car manufacturers all over the world are standardising on this process for interior decoration and even exterior...

In fact, Chrysler has recently done the first COMPLETE CAR in cubic printing!!
