I am from the States and I find that you guys are more knowledgeable in this area than I am. I have a 1994 Gts25t and I just bought a down pipe made by XS. Has anyone ever heard of this downpipe with dual chamber? I plan on running the car without a CAT. I have an HKS cat back exaust on there as of right now. I bought the car and had it brought in through Motor-ex and I still do not know exactly what exaust I have on the car as it came from JAPAN that way. Can I adapt that XS duelly pipe to the HKS (?) exaust I have on there if I just weld a custom straight pipe? Also would I need to get a new turbo exaust manifold for this duelly XS dump pipe to work? PLEASE HELP The gaskets and bolts come with the XS. fallout

Most after market dump pipes, be they spilt (dual) or not, are designed to bolt straight up, is this XS pipe just the dump part (about 6" long) or the dump/front (4 foot), if it is the dump and the front pipe is standard you would be better replacing it to the catback with a 3" pipe, if it is dump/front just get a pipe made to replace the cat.

Here is what I ordered:

ECR33 Trust MX Front Pipe

TSS stainless steel 02 housing for RB20 (same as RB25)

Here is what I have existing:

HKS cat back system

Here is what I want to do:

Eleminate the Cat totally

Here is my plan:

Bolt on TSS stainless steel 02 housing 1st

Than bolt on Trust MX Front pipe coming from housing (elbow)

Cut off catalytic converter

Weld straight pipe on other end to my HKS

WALAAA! Now I have a really loud car with good hp gains (KW)

Does this plan work out right?

Thanks for your help.

Works out great, if you wanted to retain the original setup, you could get a pipe made up with the same dimensions as the cat that would bolt in, that way you could go back to a cat, for resale or street use.
