Hks T51r Manifold

if i end up keepin the car and change the t51r is it possible to get an exhaust housing that bolts to my manifold??? eg if i get a t04z.. which has the t4 split pulse ... any chance of adapting some how.. what will i have to do, i dont really wanna part with my ss hks manifold.

Yep though someone out here could probably fabricate it for reasonable money . It will leave you with only the choise of single entry ie non split pulsed large flange T4 pattern housings .

Just buy the HKS adapter plate wich takes it from the T51 flange to a t4 flange.

Is your existing manifold split-pulse or not (I'm assuming that the flange isn't a T4 flange)

If it is split-pulse, you will need to try to find an adaptor plate (cutting off a split-pulse flange

then welding a new one on nicely is just about impossible, because of the middle part of the flange).

If it is not, and you must have a split-pulse turbo, then sell your manifold and buy one that's appropriate.

If it is not, and you can live without split-pulse then go for the T04Z in the .81 'normal' housing and you can pretty

easily have your existing flange cut off and the appropriate-sized one welded on.
