Abs For R33 Series 1 Vs Series 2 - Whats The Difference?

I just replaced my ABS motor unit but noticed that the replacement seems to be from a series one and is smaller than the original I had, would the performance of ABS be different? The original ABS motor unit I had never really worked properly so I can't compare myself.

  I did look at superchargers for a bit, but from looking, and asking around, IRT the cash outlay and power gains, a turbo has multiple advantages on these little 4 pot engines Either way, boost is not on the cards for my little beastie due to legalities and the cost of getting it legal
