Looking to get a T4 flanged single turbo manifold, top mount. Anyone have any experience with specific ones? I've seen vendors like Justjap, roguepi, etc. selling these manifolds, but its really hard to tell quality from just looking at pictures. I already know to stay away from ssautochrome, xs-power, etc... please advise, thanks.

A manifold that will fit a left-hand drive car would be preferable, where the wastegate tube doesnt go right into it, but i realize this may not be possible for anyone to know. my car is a left hand drive s14.

btw I am in the US, so preferably someone who will ship to the states... its tough to find decent single manis here.

The manifolds a few 3-4 ago, were below average china crap and had issues.

However, in the past 2 years there has been much wider use due to much better quality, and people have had no issues relatively speaking.

Its always good to brace a top-mount as much as you can. It stops the

cracking and what not.

so IMO - start with the above and go from there

thanks for the input.. i dont see a 26 mani listed under exoticspeed. i'll inquire via email about it... The gcg one is a T3, i'd prefer a T4 flange if possible... anyone else have experience?

hows the quality of justjap or roguepi? i think they are forum vendors

I had a look at the X-Force RB26 manifolds yesterday at Just Jap and the quality of them appears to be very very good and from memory they are around $795 ish with warranty

theres a guy on calaisturbo that makes awesome manifolds, im gonna chek them out this week... n ill let u kno pricing, his work is absolutely top notch!!

HKS kansai sevice extractors, use them on my own car, came with my T04Z kit. havent cracked or shown any signs of wear visible to the eye. thats my advice

i dont quite understand???

The manifold i ude on my own car come from the HKS kansai tuning service. After doing some googleing about them i cam up with some results. Kansai serivice is a devision of HKS that makes custom parts that are vehicle specific. the make the extractors (exh manifold) for the RB26 with a T4 flange and a 50mm ext gate setup. when i bought my T04Z kit from HKS ( a friend who is a importer of japanese cars in my country sourced all the bits and pieces that id be needing for the turbo on one of his regular buisnes trips to japan) he got evrything an the kansai shop. that is what i know of my exhaust manifolds, the manifold is very similar (if not the same) then the one on the sticky tread about cruiseliner who combined a JUN 2.7l with a T04Z, it is stickied in the forced induction preformance guide. have a look.

6boost manifolds.

Great work, they are cast mild steel pipe with extra thick flanges, gives a lifetime warranty on cracking. But to be safe its wise to support it with some extra bracing.

Well that all depends what you want !!!

He makes them to order, and can provide whatever you ask for. Hi mount, low mount, choice of turbo flange, with or without external wastegate flange. Lots of different possibilities for a Skyline.

But a six cylinder with external wastegate might be in the region of just over a grand.

Better to ask 6Boost for a quote.

If you order a 6boost manifold, make sure:

* you tell Kyle what you want it for specifically, in as much detail as is possible. He will be able to tell you

whether or not he can help you. I think each one is made from scratch, using an existing

car as a fit guide, so your requirements of 'fit an S14 LHD' might be harder than they sound >_<

* you get Kyle to _check_ each weld on the manifold individually before he sends it to you (an

unwelded section slipped through QC on mine; which I had to have welded). See

    • That's a short. Find the short. It will be somewhere between that fuse and the headlight. Start by removing the plugs from the back of the headlight and dimmer switches, and measure resistance to earth. Supply side (power from the fuse) should have none. The other side should have resistance compatible with whatever globe(s) is there (which is relatively easy to say for a normal globe, perhaps not as easy to say for LEDs). Anyway, if you have very low resistance, you defo have a short. Then you just have to run the wiring like you're running the bowel of a dog (on the operating table) that has swallowed something it wasn't supposed to.
    • Hey guys, need help figuring out why my driver side (RH) fuse 15amp keeps blowing. The Driver Sides Headlamp is out, i replaced these a long time ago with LED ones that were working for 1-2 years. Now, the driver side light is out and i traced it back to a broken fuse. I replaced the 15 amp fuse in the engine bay and as soon as i flip the headlight on, it blows the new fuse. Any idea what's going on?
    • I found the same with Subaru’s.  I own and love the SG9 Forester, after that model 2008+, Subaru threw the ugly stick at all their line up and somehow managed to make them look worse with every succeeding year.  lol
    • It's something we all have to consider as time marches on. Also consider lifted rally MX5 conversion at that point.
    • I should be fine for a few more years, whilst I do have arthritis I also exercise and do mobility training every day to keep as fit and healthy as I can, military life, which is the actual cause of most of my joint issues, has set daily regimes, which I weirdly enjoy I also train alot smarter now, not really focusing on lots strength or puffy muscles, I'm more focused on maintaining what I have for my future older self, I actually train as much mobility now as I do exercising Check out this "simple" drill I have been doing daily prior to training now for a while now, this has worked wonders in my all round mobility
