Hey all, just wondering if the swaybars for R32 GTRs are the same as those for a R32 GTST? Not rele concenred about thedifference thickness of the bars but whether they are interchangable or are they shaped differently.

Cheers y'all

i thought gtr rear swaybars were 25mm hollow with 2.5mm wall thickness.

if they are, they are 250% stiffer than stock gts-t swaybars

if they are 22mm hollow with 2.5mm wall thickness they are 130% stiffer.

so either way is quite a good upgrade compared to the stock 16mm rear swaybar

the front shouldnt fit as the gtr front subframe is different to accomodate for the front diff.

guess you could make it fit though, you're probly better off just getting whiteline swaybars for front though

and anyone looking for a really cheap upgrade, look at s13 swaybars (rear fits, not too sure about front). rear is 20mm hollow which is 44% stiffer than stock swaybar

and fairly sure the front bar isnt hollow, well on the gts-t is is solid, so assume the gtr is also solid, around 22mm. measured once with verniers, but forgot exactly how much

and at the end of the day... you may as well get whiteline adjustable.... I think i posted a while ago asking if gtr swaybars were a worthy upgrade, the advise sydneykid gave me was to just get the whiteline swaybars.

(they are $390 a pair on garage-13.com)

so is the R32 GTS4 subrfame the same as the GTR and aparently different to the GTST?? and i said the standard R32 GTR front bar was hollow..... same as the rear..... hollow

the GTR bars are actualy 25 mm rear and 20mm front... both hollow (dont believe a whiteline article...)

one of my mates hac an R33 gtst that he has put R33 GTR front and rear swaybars bars straight on to so the front could bolt straight on...?
