thing is, when your in Melb... if the turbo doesnt look stock, it can end it pain.

Hence the GCG is a winner using the stock housings

Just don't give them too much to get you for. eg:high mount turbo, bov, sh*t like that.

I was referring to the EPA, cops arent a worry.

I was pinned for a larger than stock turbo, and it was low mounted.

So its your own gamble, the cops arent a worry, its the EPA (read turbos) that give you grief

Oh crap!!! So moving to Melbourne in a few months might be a bit of a pain then Can you get permits for high mounts and the like in Vic?

sweet i never knew garret and hks make direct bolt on turbos i was thinking about getting a gcg in a week now im not sure anyone got links to these turbos you all been talkin to love to read more info on them

not a good idea generally from what ive read here, its spray pattern related.

plus for the sake of what, $200? why risk it?

Jason - Its not like WA, you cant get a permit for anything here that effect emissions... well... you can, but its virtually impossible (funny that)
