the guys we buy cars for in UK usually have a higher budget than the average aussie customer, mainly due to their more favourable exchange rate with the yen... we just bought a R33 280TypeMR for about 1.3 million yen for a guy in the UK... most of the cars we've sent to the UK have been either built drifters/track cars or rare models or GTRs.

then again I think I know of at least 150 kids under the age of 20 with R33 GTSt's in melbourne alone. and from memory SAU VIC has abour 260 paid memebrs.

I reckon an east coast australian skyline meet would be of great force and magnitude if everyone pulled a finger out and showed up.

UK just looks more impressive because

A) They have better cars than us :O

B) They group the cars by colour :)

It's the first time we tried putting all the cars on the track together, I think the colour groups was Fuggles idea. :) which I think it worked really well.

If guys have 100+ members in Perth alone :D , why not try and organise a big meting there and aim for the ton? :)

I'm sure there must be a hell of a lot more Skyline's in Aus, than over here. Most of your main citys should be able to do quite well.

As for us having better cars than you guys...................................well, go find better ones guys. We haven't got the market cornered you know!!

Great pics and really like the colour co-ordination. In all my years there, I only spotted one skyline which was a 33 GTR in silver on a trip back to see my parents once. This was about 2 years ago.

I know of several over there including Cam's red 34 GTR which I dont see in any pics but I know he hasnt been in the best of health lately so quite possibly didnt show.

Great effort and in my experience, getting UK guys/girls to an event is a lot harder than the aussie's due to stepping outside of the comfort zone in a large part.
