Air Fuel Ratio Gauge

Hey i got a Air Fuel Ratio gauge and i was just goin to wire it up.

Just wanted to no if any of you have done one b4 and would no where the 3 wires go from the back of the gauge, Red,Black and grey.

I prob could work it out. but i thought id just ask and maybe some one could just tell me staight up saves me mucin round working it out....

black is ground

grey goes to your o2 sensor

i no that. there is 3 wires on the O2 which one do i wire it into???

one will be power and 1 will be ground...the other will be the sensor...

If ur unsure throw a set of multimeters on the sensor and check it out.

Or get ahold of a wiring diagram for your car and check it out there,

I tapped mine into the ECU so I didn't have to run another cable through engine bay and firewall!

Pinout 29 on the ECU. Grab you power from your cigarrette lighter. have fun getting dizzy watching the thing.

will it say number 29 above that pin on the ECU. or is there a way of counting them???

find a wiring diagram, there are heaps of link, search for ecu pinout or something like that.

i got mine because my car seems to be running really rich when at idle and low revs, So i wanted to no if i was thinkin straight, b4 i went and got a Apexi unit and got it put on a dyno.

Its a NA GTS25. Do you guys think this was a bad idea??? i got the gauge for 40bucks so if im wasting my time i wont even bother to put it in??

I threw one in because I was interested to see what was going on after reading about o2 sensors, thats about all they are good for I guess, mine lives in the glovebox.
